Mordy is currently a professor in the Jazz Department at New York University. His twenty-six years of teaching experience includes, private instruction and master classes in improvisation technique, harmony and composition worldwide. He taught at Berklee College of Music in Boston, the New School University, American Institute for Guitar and the Sam Ash Institute in New York City. He has performed and recorded with artists including Michael Brecker, Jack DeJohnette, Eddie Gomez, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Dave Liebman, Miroslav Vitous, Bob Moses, Richie Beirach, Richard Bona, George Garzone, and Billy Hart to name a few. ©2006.
