Product Overview

Texas native vocalist/guitarist Lee Roy Parnell played the Austin, TX club circuits in the 70s along with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Delbert McClinton, Joe Ely, and others. He went on to record several popular solo country albums in the 90s, and here shows off his unique mastery of acoustic and electric slide guitar. Using E & G tunings and covering both blues and country, Lee Roy deals with scales for slide, emulating blues harp, vibrato and slide control, glass vs. metal, and using the capo.
